37 week appointment
We just had a doctor’s appointment this afternoon and got some good news. I am dilated to about 1 and 60% effaced. He said I had made a lot of progress since last week. He also said that the baby’s head is very low. We have been working very hard on marking things off of our “things to do before Deacon arrives” list. There are only a couple things left on there! I have been saying all along he knows how much of a planner I am and is waiting for everything to be checked off before he makes his arrival. So I guess we will see.

We had another doctor’s appointment today. There is still no progress to report. My doctor said he is not too concerned about that yet. We had our weekly doctor’s appointment today. He checked to see if I was dilated and much to my dismay he said “there is not much going on”. He did warn me before hand that this was early and he was not expecting much. So, it looks like Deacon will not be coming anytime soon. I am hoping that next week there is at least some progress. We had our last appointment today at UAMS. I would not say Deacon was fully cooperative, but he was better than last time. Even though he had his left foot in his face most of the time we were able to get a good glimpse of his face a few times. If I had to guess I would say he looks like Bryan. Almost all of his measurements were still measuring ahead, they said he weighs about 6lbs 2oz. Hopefully Bryan will be able to post a clip of the video sometime soon. He looks so sweet and precious we can’t wait for him to get here. The object in front of and by his face is his foot.
