Welcome!
After much persuasion, I decided to start a blog to keep everyone updated on what is going on in our lives. Hopefully this will keep everyone up to date, especially those of you in Illinois. Just a little update, as of Sunday I was 31 weeks. Both Bryan and I are getting very anxious for Deacon to be here. Everything is going great. We have a doctor’s appointment next Thursday and that starts our 2 week appointments. At our appointment last week he was measuring right on schedule at 31 weeks. This was the first time he was not measuring ahead of schedule. Other than that we just listened to his heartbeat and Dr. Breniman said everything looked good.
We have a lot already done on Deacon’s room, but we still have a lot to do. Chris, Bryan’s mom is working on the curtains for us and then I just informed Bryan that I want him to build some shelves/storage for the room. Other than that we just have small little finishing things to get and put in the room. I also wanted to redo the guest bathroom into Deacon’s bathroom. Bryan was not on board with this until I showed him the shower curtain, then he couldn’t say no because it’s so cute. He just finished painting last, so hopefully we will get it all put together in the next few days.
