Deacon was 5 weeks on Thursday and I am amazed at how much he has grown. He is now 23 inches long and weighs about 10 to 10.5 pounds. This week he has been amazed by his own hands. The other day he had woke up from his nap and was talking to himself and just staring at his hands. He found them t

      • One Month Today!
        09/21/08
I can’t believe Deacon is one month today. In some ways it has seemed to fly by but in other ways it hasn’t. One thing is for sure, he has grown and changed so much over the last month. He is now pretty much out of newborn clothes and into 0-3 month. He is so long and lean than he outgrows his c

      • Deacon at 3 weeks
        09/14/08
I can’t believe Deacon is already 3 ½ weeks old, oh how time flies. He is definitely growing now. He seems to be getting longer than he is chubby. We are having a hard time with finding sleepers to fit him because he is too long for newborn but too skinny for most 0-3 months. We have managed to

      • Deacon's first trip to Illinois
        09/07/08
After 8 days in Illinois we are happy to be home. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to spend time with our family and introducing Deacon to several friends and family. We left Little Rock last Friday and what was at one time a six hour drive turned into an 8 ½ hour drive. Deacon was a great traveler.
