Snow Ice Day
01/30/10
The weathermen had been predicting a big winter storm for Friday. I always like to have one big snow a year and her in Arkansas that is usually all we get. And by big snow here that usually means an inch or more. I tried not to get too excited about the possibility of snow because more often than -

Yesterday we decided to venture out to Oaklawn for opening weekend. I was excited for Deacon to go to the horse races for the first time. Growing up one of my favorite memories was going to the track to visit my great-grandpa Tommy. We would always go to the back to visit him and see all of the h -

Mom, put the camera away...I'm in the bathtub.

Love this Necklace
01/07/10
I told Bryan a long time ago that I wanted one of these necklaces either for my birthday or Christmas. Once I found out I was pregnant he told me that he had planned on getting me one for my birthday, but wanted to wait since another name would need to be added.

Another Sick Day with Mommy
01/06/10
Today I am home again with Deacon. He is doing much better today. He had a very slight fever this morning, but as the day goes along I think he is getting better and better. I guess only time will tell. But as of now I think he will be back at daycare tomorrow. Unless we get snowed in and that -
Drip, Drip, Cough
01/05/10
Saturday morning we, well really I, decided it was time to do some boxing/bagging up of Deacon’s items. I had 1 box of clothes ready to go to the attic and knew that there was a lot more things that could also make the big move up stairs. I first went through his toy box, then headed to Deacon’s r -

This New Year’s celebration was a bit different from those in the past. The last couple of years a group of us would get together and hang out until well past midnight. I have mentioned before that Deacon’s daycare does a great job of making crafts with the kids. When we got back from Christmas he had two crafts to bring home.
First his Thanksgiving art…he was very proud to show this off. He actually carried it all over the house for a few days.
